Introduced at Oshkosh in 1995, and available for purchase in 1996, the RV-8
is a high performance aircraft seating two in tandem.
A follow-up to the popular RV-6, the RV-8 proved that an aircraft with
tandem seating was still desired by many pilots.
The RV-8 continues the tradition of excellent performance found in previous
RV designs, and is capable of basic aerobatics, while remaining a stable
cross country platform.
