About Taildraggers, Inc.
What is the meaning of this?
Taildraggers, Inc. is here for the purpose of sharing a love of tailweel
aircraft. There are thousands of aircraft out there, and thousands of
pilots to fly them, but there is a certain element of cool when it comes to
flying a taildragger.
This website is meant to be a combination photo gallery, webzine, forum, and
link exchange for the tailwheel aviation enthusiast. The galleries are
my own, the forum is free for all to use, and I will be adding more webzine
articles in the future. Content contributions are greatly appreciated!

When I was learning to fly, I took my very first lessons in a Citabria.
I later switched to a Cessna 152 to save a few bucks, but that was short
lived. I returned to taildraggers, and did my first solo in a Bellanca
Super Decathlon, N2978N (see below). To finish my private pilot's
license, I had to transition to the Cessna 172, but I never lost my passion for flying the taildraggers.
I'm a relatively low time pilot, but I have flown the Citabria, Super Decathlon,
J-3 Cub, Steen Skybolt, RV-6, RV-8, Aviat Husky, Cessna 195, and Super Cub.
I've been along for the ride in EAA's Ford Trimotor, and even had the chance
to sit in the all-wood cockpit of the DeHavilland Comet replica at Ohskosh.
As I work to grow this site, I will update with my own personal experiences.
However, I would love to be able to post the stories of other pilots.
